Would you believe this dynamic conference started over 20 years ago?

When I first launched Building A Solid Youth Ministry (BASYM), I saw a huge need—especially in African American churches. Too many youth pastors and children’s ministry leaders were doing the best they could without access to real training, tools, or support. That had to change.

With over 25 years of youth ministry experience, I created this conference to empower churches with practical strategies, spiritual insight, and creative solutions to build life-changing ministries for the next generation.

Fast forward to today—BASYM has reached hundreds of leaders across the country, sparking impact in their churches and communities. Every year, attendees leave energized, equipped, and ready to implement powerful lessons right away.
